As our "subtitle" already says - mostly "airliners"... and others!

"We" are colleagues who work for various scheduled and charter airlines in Düsseldorf, Dortmund, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne, Munich or Stuttgart. You can find us both on board and on the ground - it's the diverse mix that makes it!!! Because everyone can contribute a little from their own area to ensure that help gets to where it needs to go. In official professional life, it's actually competition - "origin" is pretty irrelevant when it comes to saving an animal, everyone works hand in hand on demand. Of course, "non-airliners" have also joined over the years and they are very welcome. Anyone can join us!!!

We came together in mid-2008 through very private channels to provide quick and, above all, unbureaucratic help. The reason was a call for help from a colleague asking for tips and support to get her sponsored dog "Finchen" from Ukraine to Germany.

After the transport of "Finchen" to Germany and her accommodation at "Houses of Hope" in Bernau had been completed, we knew that we wanted to continue to help. Up to now, we have financed our activities exclusively from our own private funds, but sometimes we have also had to realize that we are reaching our limits. Having to watch helplessly as an animal cannot be helped or saved because of a lack of "small change" is not our thing. In times like these, we read every day that another animal has been kicked out because it is sick or its owner was possibly faced with the decision of spending every last cent on the care/medical costs for their animal or family. In the end, the animals - if they are lucky - end up in the animal shelter, so that the costs there explode too.

For this reason, we have founded the Network Finchen eV support association so that we can continue to provide help quickly and without red tape. We do not commit ourselves to specific associations/people/projects - we help where the need is greatest!
